The town’s mostly residential setting, coupled with minimal traffic and low crime rates, makes it a safe and relaxing location to live in. The area has evolved from a commercial fishing center in the 1920’s to the family friendly community that it is today – making Holden Beach properties some of the most in demand commodities in North Carolina.
Known For
National Geographic’s Traveler magazine ranked Holden Beach as one of the “Top 10 Family Beaches in the U.S.” Locally famous for its amazing fishing – featuring a full-service fishing pier for both recreational and commercial fishermen; King Mackerel, Cobia, Sailfish and Speckled Trout are just a few of the species that frequent the local waters.
