NC Oyster Festival

OCEAN ISLE BEACH
2022 marks the 41st anniversary of the North Carolina Oyster Festival. October 15 & 16, celebrate everything Oyster with a variety of foods, crafts, contests, children’s activities and musical performances at Town Center Park in Ocean Isle Beach. The Festival’s signature Oyster Shucking Contest will be held on Saturday. There will be plenty of oyster dishes to sample as well as food of all types. Bring a chair to sit back and enjoy live music featuring a variety of genres. Dancing is encouraged!

The weekend’s musical entertainment will kick-off with a concert by The Entertainers Friday, October 14 at 6 pm at Town Park.

Festival Hours: Saturday 9 am to 6 pm, Sunday 10 am to 5 pm

NC Festival by the Sea

HOLDEN BEACH PAVILION, HOLDEN BEACH
The NC Festival by the Sea is an annual coastal arts & crafts festival in the heart of Holden Beach. In 2022, the Festival will be held October 29 and 30. Featuring art by local craftsmen across a variety of media, live entertainment, contests, food vendors, and children’s activities. The two-day event kicks off with a parade over the Holden Beach Causeway – this is the only time of the year that the picturesque Holden Bridge over the Intracoastal Waterway is open to pedestrian traffic. Sign up for the annual horseshoe tournament and sandcastle building contest. There is plenty of fun for the whole family.
