The Museum of Coastal Carolina – Where Education and Fun Collide

The Museum of Coastal Carolina on Second Street in Ocean Isle Beach gives an in-depth look at local coastal history and is a place that everyone can enjoy. It is the goal of the museum to engage the public and help guests learn about the cultural history, environment and natural science aspects of the Carolina coastal region. There are fascinating exhibits regarding the solar system, planet Earth and the universe as a whole as well.

The museum staff offers educational programs several times a month that cater to different age groups and interests. Guests can feed, interact with and touch marine animals during a Touch Tank Feeding event, participate in a Recycled Art Contest or bring their young ones to a fun-filled story time session.
