South Brunswick Islands Shrine Club Does Great Work
Shriners International has been proudly supporting the Shriners Hospitals for Children – a system of 22 hospitals – for many years. They are dedicated to giving pediatric medical care and conducting research while providing educational opportunities for medical professionals.
Specifically, children in need of medical care up to age 18 can be treated for ailments such as orthopedic conditions, spinal cord injuries, burns, and cleft lip and palate. They are able to receive care regardless of the ability of their family to pay. Although care is usually only for those 18 and under, in some cases the treatments and services can be extended through the age of 21.
