Don’t Miss the Hearings Regarding Offshore Wind Turbines

Don’t miss the hearings regarding offshore wind turbines. Concerned citizens who are active in local decisions should strongly consider attending a hearing or voicing their opinions online – here are the details:

The Federal Bureau of Ocean Energy Management has researched and selected three areas off the coast of the Carolinas. The three locations are one off of the Outer Banks, and two others that are east of Myrtle Beach and south of Wilmington – essentially right here at home (See the map below).

The first hearing is taking place right now in Kitty Hawk, NC at the Hilton Garden Inn. It runs until 8 PM. The address is 5353 Virginia Dare Trail North, Kitty Hawk, North Carolina 27949.
