If you are looking for family fun, then mark your calendars for the Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting that will start in Ocean Isle Beach on Saturday, November 29th at 2:00 PM. This is a great way to kick off the holiday season and get into the holiday spirit!

Billed as “Super Saturday” Ocean Isle is set to be the hot spot for a fun-filled day that will start off with the annual Christmas Parade. Begin the day at 2:00 PM by seeing local residents and businesses that have decorated their vehicles and golf carts with festive themes, then head over to the Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony at the Causeway (across from the Fire Department). Feel your holiday spirits light up and be sure you’ve warmed up your vocal cords for the caroling that will ensue.

Then, at 5:30 head across the street to the Fire Department for hot cocoa, coffee, and treats while waiting for Santa to arrive! Then, at 6:00 PM, join the fun over at Sharky’s Waterfront Restaurant to take in the 11th Annual Christmas Flotilla and Party that will benefit Hope Harbour Domestic Violence Shelter. Sharky’s will be hosting local bands and guests are encouraged to dance and then enjoy the awards afterward.

So if you didn’t already have plans, you certainly do now! And if you already had plans for the 29th, perhaps you should consider changing them – as this is sure to be a wonderful, fun-filled day! For more information click here, and we hope to see everyone there!
