Fun Halloween Entertainment Ideas
With Halloween fast approaching, I thought I would let you know about 2 fun things that you can do in Brunswick County. If you happen to have younger children, you may want to check out the Trunk or Treat event at the Museum of Coastal Carolina. Then, for those of you who would like a bit more of a scare – try taking a Ghost Walk by Lantern in Southport. Read on for more details.

Trunk or Treat

There’s a new way to spend your day at Ocean Isle Beach’s Museum of Coastal Carolina. On Halloween day, kids will get to “trunk or treat” in the museum while learning and having fun in a safe, educational setting. Plus, your children will be able to enjoy pumpkin painting with all of the supplies being included! This all takes place from 11 AM to 12 noon on the 31st of October.

Pricing: $9 for adults, $8 for seniors (62+), $7 for children (3-12), and free for those 2 and under.

Ghost Walk by Lantern in Southport

Take a journey back in time with The Old South Tour Company’s Ghost Walk where you will be led by a widdow dressed in all black. She will lead you on a fun, spine-tingling walk to places of interest in the area, including the old jail and the Southport graveyard. You’ll also get to hear the tale of the old Southport Inn and the musician who is lost here for all time.

When: 8 PM on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays (subject to change, confirm first)
Where: Meet at the foot of Howe Street at the Whittler’s Bench in Southport.
Pricing: $10 for adults, $7 for kids 12 and under.
